The LCDQ series features laminated copper foil flexible connectors, manufactured from multiple layers of thin electrolytic copper foil. These connectors provide excellent flexibility while maintaining high current carrying capacity.

Laminated flexible connectors (also known as flexible busbar or copper expansion joints) are designed to accommodate thermal expansion, vibration, and misalignment in electrical power systems.
Construction
Copper Foil Layers
- Made from high-purity C11000 copper foil
- Standard foil thickness: 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.15mm, 0.2mm, 0.3mm
- Number of layers: 10 - 200+ (depending on current rating)
- Each layer is insulated or treated to prevent inter-layer friction
Termination Options
- Welded ends: Diffusion welded or molecularly welded for maximum conductivity
- Bolted ends: With drilled holes for bolted connections
- Crimped ends: Tubular crimped terminals
Insulation Options
- Heat-shrink tubing (various colors and temperature ratings)
- Glass fiber sleeve for high temperature
- Silicone coating for harsh environments
